Martin Vongrej works in the the legacy of neo-avant-garde and existentially-based conceptual art. His works are created as intuitive, and at the same time systematic, installations devoted to the issues of human consciousness and spiritual perception. They are composed from found as well as fabricated objects, paintings, photographs and drawings, often using simple methods of multiplication. Assembled all together, they are particularly attuned towards the exhibition space. Martin Vongrej often combines images and texts, newly defining elements of experience with space and time.
