How does artist mobility and cultural exchange between the U.S. and the Czech Republic work? What is the reason for artist mobility and what visions and expectations do various participants (Artists-in-Residence, cultural institutions, supporting bodies) have? The talk will consist of a presentation by two major Artist-in–Residence programs in the Czech Republic cooperating with the United States, FUTURA and MeetFactory, and of a presentation by Tracy Featherstone, a MeetFactory Artist-in–Residence from Ohio, who is going to talk about her work and life in the Czech Republic.
