Chateau Třebešice

Each year, invariably in summer, but also during other seasons, FUTURA organizes workshops at Chateau Třebešice near Kutná Hora. The residency programme at the chateau was established in 2003 with the aim to provide a place for artists from various corners of the world to meet and to provide sufficient time and space for new ideas, creativity and the realisation of innovative art projects.

 The chateau’s premises, its various buildings and immediate surroundings that FUTURA has graciously at its disposal for these purposes, offers endless possibilities for creating and presenting contemporary art, especially site-specific projects related to the history of the place and its genius loci. The spaces of the chateau and farm, dating back hundreds of years, rich in memory and so long empty and abandoned, find in the art works created here a new meaning and life.
